My List of Lasts

It's the end of May! I'm not quite sure what happened to January, February, March and April but somehow we got to May in a blink of an eye. Blink one more time. There's May gone by, too. Tomorrow is officially the 6th month of the year. WHAT?!
Today, being the last day of May, I decided to reminisce and re-live the last time I did things. Here goes 'My List of Lasts':

Last Person I Called

I called my gran because she wanted to know what a podiatrist was in Greek. Thank you, Google Translate.

Last Time I Went on a Road Trip

As I've mentioned already here, I went to Cape Town at the start of May. What I didn't mention is that my best friend and I spent a day getting completely lost. We ended up taking in the sites and the smells of the city while road trippin' for about 5 hours.

Last Person I Say 'Goodnight' to Before Bed

I have sort of a ritual when it comes to saying goodnight. The last people that I talk to at the end of any given day would be my family; I always shout from my room "Good night, love you". I'm not always met with a reply...but I can't go to bed without saying it.

Last Person I Texted

I sent my sister a whole bunch of weird/awkward and self-disrespecting selfies. Is there any better way to wake up than to a collage of someone pulling faces? I don't think so.

Last Time I Bathed

I'm not some unhygienic person who never puts themselves into water. I just prefer to shower than bathing. But, it was probably last year. In winter, if I had to get up and study (but I wanted to be warm) I'd study in the bath.

Last Alcoholic Beverage I Had

I'm not much of an alcohol drinker. You can read more about that here. I much prefer a good ol' Coca-Cola or Sprite. However, now and again alcohol is thrust into my hand, and I drink up.
Two weeks ago, I went to a friend' 24th birthday, which I briefly mentioned here. The birthday boy made milk tart shooter. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I mean, what the hell is a shooter? Anyways, it was tantalising to my taste buds. Also, turns out shooters is another term for a concoction...and boy was it a wonderful one.

Last Time I Went on a Rooftop

I wish I could describe some midnight escapade which ended with me and my lover on a rooftop. That's not how this goes. Last week I woke up to quacking...and a lot of it. Turns out some Egyptian Geese had laid eggs on our roof, that hatched, which meant the poor ducklings were helpless.

However, cue a heroic Steph to the rescue. All 3 ducklings were very quickly brought down, reunited with the apprehensive mother duck and the incredibly adrenalin-inducing father duck. They all lived happily ever after and waddled off into the pool.

Last Concert I Went To

I went to see One Direction...just as they became a 4-some. I think it may have been the very first concert without Zayn...but don't hold me to that.

Last Time I Ate Food from Another Culture

I'm a massive fan of indulging in the delights of other nations. About two Fridays ago, I did just that; There's nothing quite like Chinese takeaway to end of a week and head into the weekend.

Last Time I Followed My Heart

I went to one of my good friend's party last week. There, I met a handsome devil. I had to leave the party early- as Cinderella does. I followed my heart and added him on Facebook- because that's what 21st century, Millenial females do...right?

Long story short...there was no 'sliding into DMs from any side. Lesson learned!

Last Time I Followed My Head

This morning.
This morning, at breakfast, my heart yearned for a sugar-filled, creamy concoction of cream and hot chocolate swishing and mixing together. My head was chanting 'WATER, WATER, WATER'. My head won.

Till next time-

I wish you the happiest June ahead!

I always wanted to try bathing in a tub with bath bombs on it, but it's not really common to do that in our place. Although we have a bathtub, I just wish that I can use it one day..

    1. Thanks, Fi!

I hope you get the opportunity to use bath bombs. They're magic! It's very interesting that bathing isn't common over where you live. I love learning new things about the world!

Thank you for your constant support, Fi!

    1. I think the year really starts to fly by when we get to August. I can't believe that it's only 2 months away!

It is one of the loveliest places! I hope you get to visit the city one day and experience it for yourself!
