36 Questions To Lead You To Love (& My Answers)

Science says that if you and another person- a friend, a lover or a stranger- read and respond to 36 particular questions, the chances of you falling in love increase drastically. Trust me, it's not me saying this- it's science!
To give you a short history: In 1997, a man who was madly in love, Arthur Aron, wrote his PhD on love- after falling head over hills for his now-wife, Eilane. Aron wrote out 36 questions, with a purposeful order and increasing intimacy, based on research he'd done. To read more about these questions (which may just leave you in love) head over here:

I've heard of these questions but have never attempted to answer them...until now. I suggest you do the same; Grab a friend, a lover or a stranger and get intimate (with your words). For now though, it's me and my computer screen. Not to ruin all 36 questions, here are my answers to just a few. You can find the full list of questions here.

1.  Question: Given the choice of anyone in the world (dead or alive), who would you want as a dinner guest?
     Answer: Princess Diana

2.  Question: Would you like to be famous? In what way?
Answer: I would like to be famous for writing a book, or for being involved in some form of media.
3. Question: Before making a telephone call, do you ever rehearse what you are going to say? Why?
Answer: Yes. If I'm about to speak to someone that I respect and someone that I do not know well,                            personally, than I prefer not to stutter or mess up, so I practice the perfect wording. Please don't say that I'm the only one!

4. Question: What would constitute a "perfect" day for you?
Answer: Waking up early and drinking a cup of tea with my bedroom window open and my                         curtains allowing every ray of light through. I'd go on to have a Greek feast with my family, all cooked by my gran who is a culinary genius (no bias here, obviously), Followed by my favourite   dessert, of course. The day would end with a Rom-com amongst dimly lit lights, whilst bundled up in the fuzziest Pjs and blankets, in the living room.

5. Question: When did you last sing to yourself? Someone else?
    Answer: Today.

6. Question: If you were to live to the ago of 90 years old, and retain the body or the mind of a 30 year old, for the last 60 years of your life, which would you choose?
    Answer: Mind.

7. Question: Do you have a secret hunch as to how you will die?
    Answer: No.
That's 7 down... but there are still 29 questions to go. But, not to spoil it for you, I'll stop here and let you (and possibly a friend) take over. I would love for you to take this forward to your blog. If you decide to answer some (or all) of the 36 questions, then please do- and let me know, so that I can see your answers. If you do decide to try it out with someone (other than your computer screen) and it leads to love, I'll await my invite to the wedding.
Let me know, in the comments, if you've ever heard of these questions, if you've ever tried them (and how it went) or if you intend on giving them a go.

Till next time-
Steph

    1. It is a lot of fun! Some questions involve two people, particularly. But, I've answered most that I can on my own. Have you tried them out yourself?

  4. Oh this is so cool! XD I'm going to try the questions with my boyfriend. It'll be interesting to see our answers and how they differ. The dinner guest question is a tough one and I honestly have no idea who I'd pick. I agree with a lot of your other answers though! ( I often rehearse my telephone calls ) ^_^
